Mona's Heaven for animals is home to around 100+cows and buffaloes and calves.
Most of them are rescued from being abandoned on road by the owners and were being harassed by the locality people. Some of them were rescued from road accident where tend to lose mostly their limbs or some major life-threatening injuries.
Some of the cattle were ceased from container lorries being dumped in illegal condition for slaughter.
Below are our major expenses for our cattle:
- Daily dry feed for cattle's = 7000INR
- Installation of Proper cow shed resistant to rain = 500000 INR (including facilities for drinking water, platform to avoid Water logging and marshiness, feeding bowls)
- Medicines and Vaccination = 60000INR (per month)
- Animal Ambulance
- Eicher vehicle to rescue sick abandoned and injured cows from roads
- A land area of 5 acres of our own for the shelter as continuous relocation is affecting us financially and psychologically our animals are facing trauma which in turn cause physical illness. Our rental expenses are coming around 60-70k INR which in turn can once again be used for some other mandatory requirements. Also constantly we are facing problems from neighbouring surroundings
